Description of Georges Laval Les Longues Violes Premier Cru Brut Nature

    Estate

Champagne Georges Laval is a family estate noted for its biodynamic approach and wines of great purity. Located in the Vallée de la Marne, it develops with a philosophy of respect for the terroir and the natural expression of the grape.

    Vineyard

The vineyard is situated in the Vallée de la Marne, a region known for its clay-limestone and marl-limestone soils, particularly suited to Pinot Meunier, the dominant grape here. This location provides the wine with a fine freshness and a unique typicity.

    Wine

This 2015 vintage blanc de noirs Champagne is made primarily from Pinot Meunier, complemented by Pinot Noir, offering a subtle balance between finesse, freshness, and structure. Rated 95 by La Revue du Vin de France, the wine features a silky texture and remarkable aromatic complexity. It stands out for its minerality and deep notes typical of the estate’s top Champagnes.

    Vintage

The 2015 vintage benefited from favorable climatic conditions, producing perfectly ripe and balanced grapes. It is appreciated for its aromatic finesse and aging potential.

    Vinification & Aging

Winemaking follows natural principles with minimal intervention to preserve terroir character. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks and barrels, bringing both freshness and complexity, followed by extended lees aging to provide elegance and refined effervescence.

    Grape Variety

    Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
