Description of Nicolas Maillart Jolivettes Grand Cru

    Estate

Champagne Nicolas Maillart is a prestigious Grand Cru created by Grands Vignerons from the Champagne region. The house is known for its stringent standards and traditional know-how in crafting exceptional champagnes.

    Vineyard

Located in Montagne de Reims, the vineyard benefits from limestone soils and a temperate climate, ideal for Pinot Noir cultivation. This area is famous for producing grapes that impart structure and finesse to the champagnes.

    Wine

This 2020 Champagne is a Blanc de Noirs made exclusively from Pinot Noir, with an Extra Brut dosage and 13% alcohol. Its style reflects the purity of the grape variety and the minerality of the terroir, featuring fine and elegant effervescence.

    Vintage

The 2020 vintage was remarkable, yielding grapes with excellent maturity and balance despite challenging weather. This champagne showcases freshness and notable potential.

    Vinification & Aging

Vinification is carefully executed to highlight the freshness and liveliness of Pinot Noir. Lees aging and the low Extra Brut dosage preserve the wine’s tension and aromatic purity.
