Description of Ruppert-Leroy Cuvée Fosse Grely Brut Nature

Estate

Ruppert-Leroy is a Champagne house located in the Côte des Bars, known for its commitment to organic viticulture. This family-owned producer blends Champagne tradition with environmental respect, crafting authentic and expressive wines.

Vineyard

The vineyard lies in the Côte des Bars, an area renowned for its clay-limestone soils that favor Champagne grape varieties. The organically farmed vines are carefully managed to promote biodiversity and grape quality.

Wine

This 2022 Brut Nature Champagne is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with no added sugar after disgorgement, delivering a pure and mineral expression.

Vintage

The 2022 vintage, marked by contrasting weather conditions, produced ripe and healthy grapes, resulting in a wine that is fresh and structured.

Vinification and Aging

Vinification follows organic principles with natural fermentation. Bottle aging was extended to enhance aroma and texture, with no dosage added to maintain purity.

Blend

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
