Description of Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Gains

    Estate

The Labruyère-Prieur Sélection estate is renowned for its commitment to expressing the typicity and elegance of Burgundy terroirs. Situated in the prestigious commune of Puligny-Montrachet, the estate focuses on quality and finesse in the vinification of its white wines.

    Vineyard

Located in Côte de Beaune, the Puligny-Montrachet vineyard benefits from a limestone terroir and a temperate climate ideal for growing Chardonnay. The Premier Cru Labruyère area is traditionally appreciated for the richness and liveliness of its wines.

    Wine

The Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Labruyère-Prieur Sélection 2023 is a white wine produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. It reflects the finesse and aromatic purity characteristic of great Burgundy white wines, offering a subtle balance between freshness and depth.

    Vintage

The 2023 vintage stands out due to favorable climatic conditions allowing optimal grape maturity, ensuring a wine with fine structure and great aromatic precision.

    Vinification & Aging

Vinification is conducted carefully to preserve freshness and terroir expression, typically in stainless steel tanks or well-controlled oak barrels. Aging partly in oak barrels enhances complexity and finesse without overshadowing the fruit’s purity.
