Estate

The Domaine Pommier is a well-established estate in the Burgundy region, specializing in the iconic crus of Chablis. With a century-long heritage, the estate combines traditional know-how with modern techniques to enhance its vineyards.

Vineyard

Located in the Chablis wine region, the vineyard benefits from a distinctive limestone and clay-limestone terroir known as Kimmeridgian soil. This soil imparts a pronounced minerality and characteristic aromatic expression to great Chablis wines.

Wine

This 2023 Chablis 1er Cru from Domaine Pommier is an elegant white wine made exclusively from Chardonnay. It showcases the finesse and purity expected from a Premier Cru of Chablis through its balance of minerality and freshness.

Vintage

The 2023 vintage experienced favorable climatic conditions for the healthy ripening of grapes. The harvest yielded a balanced juice, marked by bright natural acidity and complex aromas.

Vinification & Aging

Vinification was carried out respecting Chablisian tradition with stainless steel fermentation followed by aging on fine lees to enhance texture and aromatic complexity without the use of new oak, preserving the wine’s freshness.

Serving

Serve chilled between 11 and 13°C. A light decanting for one hour may be recommended for younger vintages to fully express their complexity.

Pairs excellently with roasted wild sea bass, asparagus risotto, aged Époisses cheese, or scallop tartare.

Aging Potential
