Domain Berthaut-Gerbet is renowned for its elegant and refined wines, originating from the typical terroir of the Côte de Nuits. The winery emphasizes environmentally respectful viticulture to preserve its terroirs' characteristic qualities. The estate's reputation is built on consistent quality and a traditional approach to vineyard management.

Vineyard

The Fixin vineyard is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, a region famous for its fine reds. The clay-limestone and volcanic soils give the wines structure and finesse. Traditional viticulture with controlled yields ensures high-quality grapes.

Wine

This Fixin 2023 displays a deep red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruits, complemented by spice and subtle toasty notes. The palate is elegant, with fresh fruitiness and a silky finish, typical of Pinot Noir from the region.

Vintage

The 2023 vintage benefited from balanced weather conditions, producing a rich and expressive wine. The grapes reached perfect maturity, resulting in a wine with strong aromatic concentration and structured tannins. Harvesting was done at optimal ripeness to ensure finesse and depth.

Vinification & Aging
