What is the benefit of tasting "Harmonie" 2024 alongside the 2023?

Appearance: bright clear ruby red
Nose: subtle aromas of red berries such as cherry and raspberry, floral notes, and a slight spicy touch
Palate: fine and elegant, revealing good freshness, silky tannins, and a delicately fruity persistent finish

These two bottles make it possible to compare two vintages under the same cuvée name, from the same estate. However, without tasting notes, we cannot say which will be more expressive or establish an order in which to open them.

Does the name "Harmonie" refer to a blend of several grape varieties?

Pinot Noir is the only grape variety listed for this cuvée. The name "Harmonie" alone is therefore not enough to conclude that it is a blend of grape varieties or to describe its balance on the palate.

Should "Harmonie" be considered equivalent to the estate's Vosne-Romanée "Vieilles Vignes"?

It is best to approach them as two distinct wines from AS - Arnaud & Sophie. The information provided does not allow us to attribute a vine age to "Harmonie" or compare the concentration or texture of the two wines.

Can "Harmonie" serve as a point of comparison with a Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru?

Yes, for a tasting comparing Village and Premier Cru wines from Vosne-Romanée. However, this difference in classification alone does not make it possible to predict differences in enjoyment, power or maturity between the bottles.

Does this bottle belong in a tasting focused on Pinot Noir rather than exclusively on Vosne-Romanée wines?

Yes, it can represent a red Burgundy from Vosne-Romanée, in the Côte de Nuits. However, it should be tasted without assigning it an aromatic profile or structure in advance: no tasting notes are provided for this 2024.
