A Family Alliance in the Heart of Burgundy

Estate Arnaud & Sophie was born from the union of two emblematic families of Vosne-Romanée: the Sirugue and Noëllat families. Arnaud Sirugue, from Domaine Robert Sirugue, and Sophie Noëllat, from Domaine Michel Noëllat, combined their winemaking heritage to create their own estate in 2016. This family collaboration embodies Burgundian tradition and expertise, with a modern vision of viticulture.

A Privileged Terroir: Exceptional Plots

The estate manages plots located in prestigious appellations. Among them is Vosne-Romanée "Les Barreaux," a vineyard adjacent to the renowned crus Cros Parantoux and Les Petits Monts. This unique terroir imparts remarkable elegance and complexity to the wines. In 2018, the estate expanded its range with cuvées such as Gevrey-Chambertin "En Champs" and Meursault "Les Grands Charrons," reflecting the diversity and richness of Burgundy's terroirs.

Wines Revealing the Quintessence of the Terroir

The wines of Estate Arnaud & Sophie are renowned for their finesse and authentic expression of the terroir. The Vosne-Romanée "Les Barreaux" stands out with its floral aromas and silky structure, offering an unforgettable sensory experience. The Gevrey-Chambertin "En Champs" showcases depth with fruity and spicy notes, while the Meursault "Les Grands Charrons" captivates with its freshness and minerality. Each cuvée is crafted with meticulous attention, reflecting the unique character of each plot.

Winemaking Combining Tradition and Innovation

Arnaud and Sophie embrace a respectful approach to vine and wine, blending traditional methods with modern techniques. Harvesting is done manually to preserve the integrity of the grapes. During vinification, a proportion of whole clusters is used, varying according to the vintage, to add complexity and freshness to the wines. Aging occurs in French oak barrels, with moderate use of new wood, to enhance the fruit without overpowering it.

Growing International Recognition

Since its inception, Estate Arnaud & Sophie has captivated wine enthusiasts and critics worldwide. Their cuvées, produced in limited quantities, are highly sought after for their exceptional quality and ability to express the best of Burgundy. This recognition reflects Arnaud and Sophie's passion and dedication to producing wines that faithfully represent their terroir and family heritage.
