What role does this bottle play in a tasting of whites made from different grape varieties?

Appearance: Pale yellow with greenish reflections, clear and bright.
Nose: Fresh aromas of lime, green apple, with a subtle floral hint.
Palate: Lively and dynamic attack, good acidity supported by a clean and saline finish.

It represents Aligoté with a white Burgundy wine. The grape variety provides a clearly identified point of comparison, without making assumptions about the aromatic profile of this 2025 wine.

How can you use this wine to explore the different Burgundy classifications?

This Bourgogne Aligoté can serve as a regional benchmark alongside a Premier Cru wine, such as Les Petits Monts from the same estate. The comparison can help explore the appellations, but it does not mean that any differences perceived in the glass can be attributed solely to the classification.

Is this bottle suitable for putting together a tasting focused on the 2025 vintage?

Yes, it can represent Burgundian Aligoté in a selection made up exclusively of 2025 wines. Keeping the same vintage provides a common point of reference; however, this alone is not enough to predict the style of the different bottles.

How can you organize a blind comparison with other Bourgogne Aligoté wines?

Choose other Bourgogne Aligoté wines from the 2025 vintage to keep the appellation and year the same. This wine will then represent AS - Arnaud & Sophie, and the differences in style will be left to discover during the tasting.

Is the 2025 vintage enough to decide whether to open this wine now?

No: the year alone is not enough to determine when to drink it. As no aging recommendations or tasting notes are provided for this wine, it would be unwise to recommend opening it immediately or specify how long to keep it.
