Does the name "Cuvée Jeunesse" mean that this wine comes from young vines?

The name alone does not tell us: the age of the vines is not specified. It is therefore best not to use this mention as a criterion related to the age of the vineyard.

Is this cuvée a good choice if I'm looking for a wine blended from several grape varieties?

No, Pinot Noir is the only grape variety listed for this cuvée. It is better suited to someone looking for a wine focused on this grape variety than to someone exploring blends.

Can I choose this bottle to discover a specific Burgundy village?

This cuvée carries the regional Bourgogne appellation, with no village specified. For a village-focused discovery, the estate's Chambolle-Musigny or Nuits-Saint-Georges wines are more suitable reference points.

Does comparing this 2024 cuvée with the 2023 Romanée-Saint-Vivant help me understand the effect of the vintage?

Not in isolation: you would be changing the vintage, cuvée, and appellation at the same time. This comparison would show two different wines from Confuron Jean-Jacques, without making it possible to attribute their differences to the year alone.

Does the mention "Cuvée Jeunesse" give it a particular classification?

No: the classification indicated remains regional, under the Bourgogne appellation. To choose according to appellation level, distinguish this cuvée name from the premier cru or grand cru designations found on other wines from the estate.
