Vineyard

The vineyard spans exceptional terroirs in Champagne, characterized by chalky soils ideal for producing fine white wines. The Chardonnay vines, the main grape of the Côteaux Champenois, benefit from a temperate climate with continental influences.

Wine

This white Côteaux Champenois is a dry wine made exclusively from Chardonnay. It offers a unique expression of the grape, presenting a more concentrated profile and pronounced aromatic richness compared to champagnes. It is a wine with character, elegant and well structured.

Vintage

The 2022 vintage benefited from favorable climatic conditions, with even ripening of the grapes. This vintage reveals a beautiful freshness and appreciable aromatic concentration, promising a balanced and harmonious wine.

Vinification & Aging

The vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromatic purity of the Chardonnay. Aging is partly done in oak barrels to add complexity and a round texture without masking the fruit's freshness.

  • Palate: lively attack followed by beautiful roundness and balanced structure. The aromatic persistence reveals mineral nuances and a slight buttery touch.

Serving

Serve between 11 and 13°C. Decanting for about 30 minutes is recommended to open the wine and release its aromas.

Food Pairings

This wine pairs perfectly with roasted sea bass fillet, asparagus risotto, Époisses, or Comté aged 24 months. It will also complement pan-seared foie gras for a more refined pairing.
