Description of Vin de France Ploussard "Au Fil des Générations"

    Estate

Domaine Tony Bornard is a family-owned estate known for crafting authentic and expressive wines in the Jura region. The estate benefits from a favorable terroir and follows traditional, environmentally respectful practices.

    Vineyard

Originating from vineyards in Jura, this wine benefits from a temperate climate and limestone-marl soils conducive to producing elegant and fresh red wines. The vineyard is managed organically to enhance terroir expression and quality.

    Wine

The 2021 Domaine Tony Bornard Vin de France is a single-varietal Ploussard red, exhibiting remarkable freshness and vibrant fruit expression. It shows excellent balance with natural acidity and light tannins, typical of the Ploussard grape.

    Vintage

The 2021 vintage delivers a lively and delicate wine with notable minerality, reflecting the favorable growing conditions in Jura that year.

    Vinification and Aging

Minimal intervention winemaking was employed to preserve fruit freshness and terroir expression. Aging took place in stainless steel tanks to maintain vibrancy and aromatic purity.
