An iconic estate in the heart of Meursault

Domaine Roulot has been based in Meursault since the late 18th century, but it rose to international acclaim under the guidance of Jean-Marc Roulot, both winemaker and actor. This family-run estate now represents one of the purest expressions of Burgundy, blending tradition with modern precision. The domaine covers about 15 hectares, entirely dedicated to white wine appellations.

Meticulous and committed vineyard work

The vineyards are organically certified. Soils are plowed, natural cover crops are encouraged, and only organic treatments are used. Each parcel is observed closely to follow natural rhythms and enhance the terroir's voice. Yields are intentionally kept low to promote concentration and tension in the wines.

Low-intervention winemaking focused on terroir

In the cellar, the approach is restrained. Fermentations are slow, bâtonnage is minimal or absent, and aging is done in oak barrels with moderate use of new wood. Each cuvée is vinified and aged separately, allowing each climat to express its unique identity. Roulot’s style is known for its precision, elegance, energy, and crystalline minerality.

A mosaic of Meursault terroirs

Domaine Roulot produces a wide range of Meursault village and premier cru wines: Les Tessons, Les Vireuils, Les Charmes, Les Perrières, among others. Each wine offers a refined interpretation of its site, in a vibrant and pure style. These cuvées are sought after for their remarkable aging potential and graceful evolution.

A cult estate with rare, coveted wines

Coveted around the world, Domaine Roulot has become an icon of great white Burgundy. Its rigorous philosophy, commitment to nature, and transparent winemaking have made it a model for the region. Produced in small quantities, these wines are among the most respected and desirable on the Côte de Beaune today.
