A Young and Ambitious Estate

Founded in 1992 by 18-year-old Stéphane Aladame, Domaine Stéphane Aladame is located in Montagny-lès-Buxy, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise in Burgundy. Despite not coming from a winemaking family, Stéphane's passion and dedication have developed the estate into one renowned for the quality of its wines. His first harvest yielded 1,800 bottles from a 0.28-hectare plot, marking the beginning of a promising journey.

A Privileged Terroir in Montagny Premier Cru

Today, the estate spans nearly 8 hectares, with 7 hectares classified as Montagny Premier Cru. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils rich in limestone, imparting characteristic minerality and freshness to the wines. The parcels, spread across several prestigious climats, benefit from varied exposures, allowing for nuanced expressions of Chardonnay.

Environmentally Friendly Viticulture

Committed to sustainable viticulture, Stéphane Aladame practices organic farming throughout his vineyard. The soils are cultivated without herbicides, promoting biodiversity and vine health. Harvesting is done manually, ensuring a rigorous selection of grapes at optimal ripeness.
