A Family History Since 1970

Founded in 1970 by Marc Colin and his wife Michèle, Domaine Marc Colin is located in Saint-Aubin, Burgundy. Today, the estate is managed by their children, Damien and Caroline Colin, representing the new generation of passionate winemakers. The estate spans 11.5 hectares, with the majority of vineyards situated in Saint-Aubin, as well as parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Santenay.

A Vineyard with Prestigious Terroirs

Domaine Marc Colin produces 24 appellations, ranging from Bourgogne Aligoté to the most prestigious grands crus, such as Montrachet. Chardonnay is the primary grape variety, covering 10.5 hectares, while Pinot Noir is cultivated on 1 hectare. Notable parcels include renowned premier crus of Saint-Aubin, such as "En Montceau" and "La Chatenière".

Respectful Viticultural Practices

Damien and Caroline Colin practice sustainable viticulture, focusing on soil work and respecting each parcel. Harvesting is done by hand, and the wines are aged in oak barrels, aiming to preserve the authentic expression of the terroirs and achieve the highest quality grapes.

Signature Cuvées

Among the estate's flagship wines:

  • Saint-Aubin 1er Cru "En Montceau": this wine offers enticing aromas of white flowers, honeysuckle, and mint, with remarkable complexity and balance.
  • Chassagne-Montrachet "Cuvée Margot": an elegant Chardonnay with notes of peach, freshly baked bread, and spices, featuring lively acidity and a slightly lactic finish.
  • Saint-Aubin 1er Cru "Les Castets": presents notes of citrus oil, confit lemon, pear, and wet stones, with a chalky finish.
