Description Riesling Grand Cru Sporen 'Très Vieilles Vignes'

Estate

Domaine Bott-Geyl, located in Beblenheim, Alsace, is a family-owned estate managed biodynamically since the early 2000s. Led by Jean-Christophe Bott, the estate emphasizes terroir expression through meticulous vineyard and cellar work. It spans around 15 hectares, including plots in several Grand Crus. The philosophy is based on low yields and natural vinification. Bott-Geyl seeks to translate the character of each parcel into the wine.

Vineyard

This Grand Cru Riesling comes from a marl-limestone terroir typical of Alsace. The vineyard is cultivated manually with biodynamic practices. Its southeast exposure and altitude allow slow, even ripening. The continental climate enhances aromatic concentration. The soil imparts a marked minerality to the wine.
