Description of Château La Tour Blanche Sauternes

Estate

Château la Tour Blanche is a landmark estate in the Sauternes appellation, renowned for its exceptional sweet white wines. Located in Bordeaux, the estate benefits from a privileged terroir that enhances sugar concentration and aromatic complexity.

Vineyard

The vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soils, bringing finesse and elegance to the wine. The climatic conditions, including morning humidity promoting noble rot, are ideal for producing high-quality Sauternes.

Wine

The Château la Tour Blanche 2009 Sauternes is a sweet white wine crafted from a careful blend of Sémillon, Muscadelle, and Sauvignon. This vintage combines aromatic richness and balance, finishing with refreshing acidity.

Vintage

The 2009 vintage is noted for its harmony and optimal maturity. The climatic conditions that year allowed perfect botrytization with an excellent balance of sugars and acidity.

Vinification and Aging

Winemaking is carefully managed to preserve fruity and floral aromas. Aging in oak barrels develops complex notes of honey and vanilla while maintaining the characteristic freshness of Sauternes.

Blend

Sémillon, Muscadelle, Sauvignon
