Description of Château La Tour Blanche Sauternes

Estate

Château la Tour Blanche is a renowned estate located in the Bordeaux region, specializing in producing exceptional sweet wines. Acclaimed for its traditional expertise, the estate benefits from terroir that is ideal for crafting refined Sauternes.

Vineyard

Situated in the Sauternes appellation, the vineyard stretches over clay-limestone soils that favor the development of noble rot necessary for sweet wine production. The temperate oceanic climate of Bordeaux contributes to the quality and complexity of the harvested grapes.

Wine

The Sauternes Château la Tour Blanche 2015 is a sweet white wine combining richness and freshness, obtained from a meticulous blend. It expresses complex aromas of honey, apricot, and exotic fruits, supported by a fine acidity that balances its sweetness.

Vintage

2015 proved to be an excellent year in the region, characterized by stable weather conditions that allowed a perfect balance between grape maturity and noble rot development. This vintage is noted for its elegance and aging potential, also featured in our collection of old vintages.

Vinification and Aging

Selective hand harvesting ensures the quality of noble rot-affected clusters. Traditional barrel fermentation promotes aromatic expression and complexity, with aging in oak barrels typically lasting between 18 to 24 months to refine the wine.

Blend

Sémillon, Muscadelle, Sauvignon
