A Family Heritage Spanning Three Generations

Located in Ladoix-Serrigny, between Beaune and Nuits-Saint-Georges, Estate Maratray-Dubreuil has been a family-owned estate for three generations. Currently managed by François-Xavier and Marie-Madeleine Maratray, the estate covers 19 hectares, producing 19 different wines.

A Vineyard with Prestigious Appellations

The estate owns plots in the villages of Ladoix, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Savigny-lès-Beaune. This diversity allows for the production of a varied range of wines, including regional, village, premier cru, and grand cru appellations.

Sustainable Viticultural Practices

Committed to sustainable viticulture, François-Xavier and Marie-Madeleine practice limited intervention, with manual harvesting across all plots. The estate aims for Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification in 2020, reflecting their dedication to environmental stewardship.

Signature Cuvées

Among the estate's flagship wines:

  • Bourgogne Chardonnay: a fresh and fruity white wine, reflecting the character of Chardonnay grown in Burgundy.
  • Bourgogne Pinot Noir: an elegant red with aromas of red fruits, typical of Burgundian Pinot Noir.
  • Pernand-Vergelesses "Les Vignes Blanches": a white wine from a renowned terroir, offering fine minerality and aromatic complexity.
  • Ladoix 1er Cru "En Naget" Monopole: a premier cru red wine, exclusive to the estate, with spicy notes and a fine tannic structure.
  • Corton Bressandes Grand Cru: a powerful and elegant grand cru, with remarkable aging potential.
