A Centuries-Old Family Heritage
Located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Henri Rebourseau is a family-owned vineyard with a history spanning over 150 years. Founded by General Henri Rebourseau in 1919, the estate has preserved its viticultural heritage through generations, blending tradition and modernity to produce exceptional wines.
A Prestigious 13.5-Hectare Vineyard
Spanning 13.5 hectares, the estate encompasses parcels in some of the most renowned appellations of the Côte de Nuits. Notably, 5.28 hectares are classified as Grand Crus, including illustrious names such as Chambertin, Clos de Bèze, Mazy-Chambertin, and Clos de Vougeot. These exceptional terroirs provide ideal conditions for cultivating Pinot Noir, the region's emblematic grape variety.
Sustainable Viticulture Respecting the Terroir
Since 2006, Domaine Henri Rebourseau has practiced organic farming, enhanced by biodynamic methods since 2008. This commitment to sustainable viticulture reflects a deep respect for the vine and its environment, allowing each cuvée to fully express the richness and diversity of Burgundy's soils.
Wines Reflecting Burgundy's Authenticity
The estate's wines are renowned for their elegance, complexity, and aging potential. Each bottle results from ancestral expertise, highlighting the unique characteristics of each parcel. Grand Crus, such as Chambertin and Clos de Vougeot, stand out for their depth and finesse, offering wine enthusiasts an unforgettable sensory experience.
A Commitment to Excellence
Under the current leadership of Louis and Bénigne de Surrel, representing the seventh generation, Domaine Henri Rebourseau continues its relentless pursuit of quality. By combining family traditions with oenological innovations, they strive to produce wines that honor the estate's prestigious heritage while meeting the expectations of contemporary connoisseurs.
