Description of Ratafia de Saignée Champenois "L'Exaltant"

    Estate

Mouzon-Leroux is a historic house known for its expertise in producing high-quality spirits. It combines traditional craftsmanship with modern precision.

    Vineyard

The estate selects eaux-de-vie from carefully chosen terroirs to ensure aromatic richness and finesse in its products.

    Wine

This Ratafia is a blend of fresh grape must and eaux-de-vie, offering a subtle balance between sweetness and character. It reveals typical fruity and floral notes of quality ratafias.

    Vintage

The 2021 vintage benefited from favorable climatic conditions, allowing optimal ripening of the grapes and guaranteeing freshness and aromatic complexity in the ratafia.

    Vinification & Aging

Fermentation is stopped by adding eaux-de-vie, preserving the natural sugars of the grapes. The ratafia is then aged in stainless steel tanks or neutral casks to maintain purity and freshness of the aromas.
