Description of Gewurztraminer Schloesselreben Sélection de Grains Nobles

    Estate

Domaine Bott-Geyl is a renowned family estate in Alsace, recognized for its expertise and dedication to quality and terroir expression. Established several generations ago, the estate focuses on producing wines that are typical and expressive of the Alsatian vineyard.

    Vineyard

Located in Alsace, the vineyard benefits from terroir composed of clay-limestone soils and volcanic subsoils, offering ideal conditions for Gewurztraminer cultivation. The estate practices environmentally respectful viticulture, promoting the aromatic richness of the grapes.

    Wine

This white Gewurztraminer reveals the full aromatic richness characteristic of the grape variety with striking intensity. The wine is balanced between roundness and freshness, offering a clear and precise floral and spicy palette, perfectly harmonizing with the Alsatian terroir.

    Vintage

The 2008 vintage is recognized for favorable conditions in Alsace, allowing good ripeness of the grapes while maintaining fresh acidity. This wine can be enjoyed now and benefits from a promising potential for bottle aging.

    Vinification & Aging

The grapes are vinified traditionally, with natural fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserving primary aromas. Aging takes place on fine lees, bringing complexity and texture to the wine without compromising its freshness.
