A Family Heritage Since 1820
Located in Morey-Saint-Denis, Louis Rémy Estate is a family-run vineyard with origins dating back to 1820. Since its founding, the estate has preserved its ancestral expertise, passed down through generations, to produce wines that reflect the authenticity and richness of Burgundy's terroirs.
Prestigious Terroirs
The estate owns parcels in emblematic appellations of the Côte de Nuits, including Grand Crus such as Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin, and Clos de la Roche. These exceptional terroirs provide ideal conditions for cultivating Pinot Noir, resulting in wines of great finesse and complexity.
Environmentally Friendly Viticulture
Faithful to Burgundian traditions, Louis Rémy Estate practices environmentally friendly viticulture. The vines are cultivated without the use of herbicides or insecticides, promoting biodiversity and soil health. Manual harvesting allows for rigorous selection of the best grapes, ensuring optimal quality.
Wines Renowned for Their Elegance
The wines of Louis Rémy Estate are distinguished by their elegance, depth, and aging potential. Each cuvée expresses the unique character of its original terroir, offering wine enthusiasts an unforgettable sensory experience. The estate's Grand Crus are particularly appreciated for their harmonious structure and complex aromas.
Intergenerational Transmission
After the passing of Chantal Rémy's mother in 2008, the estate was renamed Domaine Chantal Rémy. Today, Chantal and her son Florian together continue the family tradition, combining respect for ancestral practices with oenological innovations to enhance each vintage and continue producing exceptional wines.
