Description of Vin de Savoie Arbin Mondeuse "(N) 45°30.506' (E) 6°04.451'"

    Estate

Domaine Genoux is a family-run estate recognized for its commitment to organic viticulture and quality winemaking in Savoie. Located in the heart of the region, the estate emphasizes environmental respect and terroir expression.

    Vineyard

The vineyard parcels lie within the Vin de Savoie appellation, in the Savoie and Bugey region. The terroir benefits from a mountain climate with exposures that favor optimal grape ripening.

    Wine

This red Vin de Savoie is made solely from Mondeuse, a signature grape of the region, producing fresh, elegant wines with good structure. The wine balances fruitiness and freshness, typical of mountain wines.

    Vintage

The 2019 vintage benefitted from favorable weather that allowed good grape maturity while maintaining nice acidity, resulting in an expressive and harmonious wine.

    Vinification & Aging

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit purity. The aging is short and oak-free to maintain the fruity character and natural vibrancy of Mondeuse.
