Description of Château Suduiraut Sauternes

Estate

Château Suduiraut is a prestigious estate located in the Sauternes appellation, known for producing exceptional sweet white wines. This historic property consistently delivers quality and elegance through its old vintages.

Vineyard

The vineyard, situated in the Bordeaux region, benefits from ideal climatic conditions for the development of Botrytis cinerea, essential for crafting this natural sweet wine. The clay-limestone and gravelly terroir enhances aromatic concentration and grape finesse.

Wine

This 2015 Château Suduiraut Sauternes is a sweet white wine made exclusively from Sémillon grapes, offering richness and creaminess. It exhibits a remarkable balance between sweetness and freshness due to a rigorous selection of botrytized grapes.

Vintage

The 2015 vintage is acclaimed for its excellent sanitary condition and optimal grape ripeness, resulting in a generous and complex wine. It has been praised by wine critics for its finesse and longevity.

Vinification and Aging

The vinification is carefully conducted to preserve aromatic purity. Aging takes place in oak barrels, providing a harmonious structure while retaining the liveliness and freshness characteristic of Sauternes.
