    Estate

    The Anne Collard vineyard is located in the southern Rhône Valley, a historic wine-producing region known for its high-quality red wines. The estate is family-run, committed to sustainable viticulture and environmental respect. Anne Collard carefully manages each vineyard parcel to highlight its full potential. Yields are kept moderate to ensure optimal fruit concentration. The estate combines tradition and precision winemaking.

    Vineyard

    The vineyard is planted on diverse soils of rolled pebbles, clay and silt, typical of the Rhône. The plots benefit from ample sunlight and the cleansing effects of the mistral wind. The Mediterranean climate allows for steady ripening and healthy grapes. Vines average between 25 and 40 years of age.

    Wine

    This 2020 Côtes-du-Rhône by Anne Collard is a generous and expressive red wine. It shows ripe fruit, supple tannins and good concentration. Best enjoyed young but also capable of aging a few years. Pairs well with grilled meats and Provençal cuisine.

    Vintage

    The 2020 vintage experienced favorable weather, with well-ripened grapes despite a hot summer. Harvest took place under good conditions, allowing optimal grape selection. The wines are balanced, fruit-forward and structured. It's a strong vintage for Rhône reds.

    Vinification & Aging

    Grapes are picked at full ripeness and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with maceration lasting 2 to 3 weeks depending on the parcel. Aging is conducted in tanks to retain the wine’s purity and fruit-driven character. No oak aging is involved in this cuvée.

    • Appearance: Deep red with purplish highlights.
    • Nose: Aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and Mediterranean herbs.

    Serve between 16 and 18°C after slight aeration.

    Aging

    Drink now or cellar until 2026.
