A Century-Old Family History

Founded in 1880 in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Domaine Simon Bize is the result of several generations of passionate winemakers. Since its inception, each generation has contributed to the development and reputation of the estate, bringing their expertise and dedication to Burgundian viticulture.

An Exceptional Terroir in Côte de Beaune

The estate spans 22 hectares, primarily planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The plots are located in prestigious appellations such as Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, and Grand Crus like Corton-Charlemagne and Latricières-Chambertin. This diverse terroir allows for the production of wines that faithfully reflect the richness and complexity of the Côte de Beaune soils.

Authentic and Elegant Wines

Domaine Simon Bize's wines are renowned for their finesse and ability to express the unique character of each plot. The reds, mainly from Pinot Noir, offer delicate red fruit aromas and an elegant tannic structure. The whites, crafted from Chardonnay, are distinguished by their freshness, minerality, and subtle floral notes.

Environmentally Friendly Viticulture

Committed to a sustainable approach, the estate practices organic viticulture (not certified), favoring environmentally friendly methods to preserve biodiversity and soil health. Harvesting is done manually, ensuring a rigorous selection of grapes for optimal quality.

A Family Legacy Continued with Passion

After the passing of Patrick Bize in 2013, his wife Chisa and sister Marielle took over the estate, perpetuating the family legacy with passion and dedication. Their commitment to excellence and respect for the terroir continues to make Domaine Simon Bize a benchmark in Burgundy wines.
