A rich history in the heart of Chablis
Founded in 1860 by Zéphir Régnard, Maison Régnard is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine houses in Chablis. In 1984, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the estate, perpetuating and enhancing the style and typicity of the wines, while respecting the traditions established for over a century.
A complete range of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus
Maison Régnard stands out by producing all 7 Chablis Grands Crus: Les Clos, Bougros, Blanchots, Grenouilles, Preuses, Valmur, and Vaudésir. It also offers the 5 main Premiers Crus: Fourchaume, Montmains, Vaillons, Montée de Tonnerre, and Mont de Milieu, as well as Chablis and Petit Chablis appellations, providing a palette of flavors reflecting the diversity of the Chablis terroir.
Le Grand Régnard: an exceptional cuvée
In 1992, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette created Le Grand Régnard, a special cuvée crafted from the estate's best Chablis parcels. Presented in a unique bottle inspired by the 18th century, this cuvée embodies the youthful and fruity characteristics of Chablis wines, combining aromatic richness with mineral freshness.
Expertise respectful of tradition
Vinification at Maison Régnard combines traditional techniques with modern innovations. Grapes are carefully selected and harvested to preserve their aromatic purity. Fermentations are conducted under precise temperature control, and aging occurs in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, depending on the desired profile for each cuvée, ensuring balanced and expressive wines.
A historic site in the heart of Chablis
Located at 28 boulevard du Docteur Tacussel, Maison Régnard boasts cellars and a winery within the historic center of Chablis. This emblematic site offers visitors an immersion into the house's history and expertise, with tasting experiences and guided tours to discover the excellence of its wines.
