The Sylvain Pataille estate is renowned for its natural and precise approach in crafting Burgundy wines, emphasizing a faithful expression of the Côte de Nuits terroirs.

Vineyard

Located in the Côte de Nuits, this vineyard benefits from a limestone and clay soil ideal for producing fine white and red wines, with a climate that promotes a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes.

The Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Blanc 2023 is a wine of great finesse, made from Chardonnay. It perfectly expresses the Côte de Nuits terroir through its delicate aromas and elegant structure.

Vintage

The 2023 vintage was characterized by a warm and dry summer, favoring optimal ripeness of the Chardonnay while maintaining freshness thanks to the specific climatic conditions in the region.

Vinification & Aging

Vinification is carried out traditionally with controlled fermentations in stainless steel or wooden vats. Aging is done in partly new oak barrels to add complexity without overpowering the purity of the fruit aromas.
