Chandon Estate was created in 1959 by Moët & Chandon with the aim of producing high-quality sparkling wines outside the Champagne region, while respecting traditional methods. The first estate opened in Argentina, followed by others in the USA, Australia, Brazil, India, and China. A pioneering international adventure.

Carefully selected cool-climate terroirs

Each Chandon Estate is based in a region known for its cool climate, ideal for sparkling wine production: Mendoza in Argentina, Napa Valley in California, Yarra Valley in Australia, and southern Brazil. The main grape varieties used are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, just like in Champagne, adapted to each local environment.

Commitment to traditional method winemaking
