Eminente is a Cuban rum crafted in the central province of Villa Clara. It pays tribute to the rich, structured rums of 19th-century Cuba and was created by César Martí, one of the country’s youngest maestros roneros. Eminente offers a modern interpretation of Cuban rum, deeply rooted in heritage yet focused on excellence and refinement.
Meticulous and local production
Eminente is made from Cuban molasses, slowly fermented and distilled in columns. A significant proportion of aguardiente, Cuba’s intensely flavored eau-de-vie, is blended into the final spirit to bring depth and character. The rum is then aged in ex-whisky oak barrels, adding roundness and aromatic complexity.
A rich and balanced aromatic profile
On the nose, Eminente reveals roasted coffee, stewed fruit, vanilla, and leather. The palate is full and tense, with a persistent finish marked by spices and ripe cane. Best enjoyed neat to appreciate its depth, Eminente also performs beautifully in refined rum-based cocktails.
