Why choose Ratafia de Bourgogne over another spirit like whisky or cognac?

Appearance: Amber, bright and deep.
Nose: Intense notes of candied fruits, soft spices, and subtle floral hints.
Palate: Rich and smooth with a lovely roundness, blending flavors of honey, dried apricot, and caramel.

Ratafia de Bourgogne stands out for its blend of grape brandies, offering a unique aromatic richness, ideal for those seeking a tasting experience different from whiskies or cognacs.

What is the advantage of serving Ratafia de Bourgogne chilled rather than at room temperature?

Serving Ratafia chilled between 10 and 12°C allows for a better appreciation of its intense notes of candied fruits and spices, providing a more refreshing and enjoyable tasting experience.

How does Ratafia de Bourgogne compare to other ratafias from different regions?

Ratafia de Bourgogne is renowned for its traditional craftsmanship and the quality of its brandies, which gives it an elegance and complexity not necessarily found in ratafias from other regions.

Is it better to choose a non-vintage Ratafia rather than a vintage one for a special tasting?

A non-vintage Ratafia, like that of Sab's, guarantees consistency in taste and quality, which can be an asset for occasions where a reliable and harmonious experience is desired.
