Description of Vin de Corse Côteaux du Cap Corse Rouge Vieilles Vignes "Valle Alla Cala"

Estate

Domaine Pieretti is a renowned estate located on the island of Corsica, known for producing wines that reflect the authentic character of their terroir. The estate carefully tends its vineyards to express the unique qualities of Cap Corse.

Vineyard

Situated in the prestigious Côteaux du Cap Corse appellation, the vineyard enjoys a Mediterranean climate with a strong maritime influence, promoting ideal grape ripening in a preserved environment.

Wine

This red wine from Domaine Pieretti is a blend of Niellucio and Alicante grapes, embodying the Corsican tradition with its fruity aromas and elegant structure. The 15% alcohol content reflects the wine’s richness and concentration.

Vintage

The 2023 vintage benefited from favorable climatic conditions, allowing for expressive aromas and excellent grape maturity.

Vinification and Aging

Vinification is carefully managed to preserve the varietal aromas, followed by appropriate aging that adds roundness and complexity without diminishing the fresh character.

Blend

Niellucio, Alicante
