Description of Vin de Corse Côteaux du Cap Corse Rouge

Estate

Domaine Pieretri is a respected estate in Corsica known for its commitment to quality and authentic wines. It holds a consistent reputation for producing wines from the exceptional terroirs of Cap Corse.

Vineyard

Located on the Cap Corse peninsula, this vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate tempered by maritime influences and granite soils that allow a typical expression of local grape varieties.

Wine

This red Corsican wine is mainly produced from Sciaccarellu, an emblematic grape of the island, complemented by Alicante, offering a balance between finesse and structure. It reflects the unique identity of this coastal terroir.

Vintage

The 2025 vintage promises a favorable harvest, marked by ideal climatic conditions which allowed optimal ripening at 14% alcohol.

Vinification and Aging

Carefully vinified, this wine undergoes traditional vinification with respectful maceration of the grapes. The aging is generally short to preserve freshness and the purity of fruity and spicy aromas.

Blend

Sciaccarellu, Alicante
