    Description of Riesling Scharzhofberger Kabinett

    Estate

Domaine Egon Müller is an iconic estate in the Moselle region, renowned for the exceptional quality of its white wines from Alsace and Germany. This family estate maintains a traditional expertise combining rigor and respect for the terroir.

    Vineyard

The vineyards are planted on typical Moselle slate and clay soils, ideal for the Riesling grape. The region's cool and temperate climate encourages slow and steady ripening of the grapes, ensuring finesse and freshness.

    Wine

This white Riesling stands out for its balance and natural elegance. With no available Parker or RVF ratings, it expresses itself through a characteristic aromatic profile of its terroir, with bright acidity and remarkable purity.

    Vintage

The 2021 vintage benefited from a temperate climate with conditions favorable for optimal Riesling development. The harvest yielded healthy, concentrated grapes offering interesting aromatic potential.

    Vinification & Aging

Traditional winemaking favors a short skin maceration to preserve freshness and varietal aromas. Aging in stainless steel tanks maintains the fruit purity and liveliness without oak influence.
