    Domaine Albert Mann is a benchmark estate in Alsace, acclaimed for producing precise and refined wines. The family-run estate, located in Wettolsheim, has been passed down through several generations. It is certified organic and biodynamic, focusing on sustainable viticulture.     Vineyard

    This Riesling originates from a classified Alsace Grand Cru vineyard, with marl-limestone soils ideal for retaining acidity and enhancing minerality. Benefiting from optimal sun exposure, the vines produce grapes with excellent ripeness. The region's continental climate supports slow, extended ripening. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically, maintaining natural balance and biodiversity.

    The 2018 Alsace Grand Cru Riesling from Domaine Albert Mann is a dry, structured and expressive white wine that showcases its terroir with precision. It balances aromatic intensity with vibrant acidity and mineral tension. The wine is notable for its aging potential and purity of expression. Awarded 96 points by both Robert Parker and Revue du Vin de France, it is recognized for outstanding quality.

    Vintage

    The 2018 vintage in Alsace was marked by warm temperatures and early, healthy harvests. Conditions resulted in concentrated, aromatic and balanced wines. Rieslings from this year display structure, elegance and longevity. 2018 is considered among the finest vintages of the past decade in Alsace.

    Vinification & Aging

    Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted in the vineyard. A slow and gentle pressing ensures delicate aromatics and natural freshness. Fermentation occurs in traditional large oak foudres using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on fine lees for several months, adding complexity and depth.
