A historic distillery in southern Martinique
Located in Rivière-Pilote since 1749, La Mauny is one of the oldest distilleries in Martinique. With deep roots in a rich volcanic terroir, the house has built a legacy of authenticity and craftsmanship. Today, it is a major reference in the AOC Martinique rum designation.
Rum made exclusively from fresh sugarcane juice
La Mauny produces only agricole rums made from pure, freshly crushed sugarcane juice. The cane is harvested at full maturity and pressed within hours. A short, controlled fermentation preserves the aromatic intensity, followed by distillation in a traditional Creole column still to highlight freshness and terroir expression.
Artisanal expertise aligned with AOC standards
Every step follows the strict rules of the Martinique AOC, from cane traceability to parcel selection and fermentation management. This precise work results in rums of great purity, whether bottled young as white rum or aged to develop complexity and depth over time.
A wide range of expressive cuvées
La Mauny’s collection includes white, aged, and vintage rums. The Profil 105 and Profil 107, aged in specific casks, are popular among connoisseurs. The high-proof white rums at 50 or 55 percent alcohol are appreciated for their vegetal intensity and finesse. Each cuvée reflects a commitment to identity and precision.
