Which dishes pair best with a Viognier?

Viognier pairs perfectly with spicy dishes, seafood, poultry in sauce, or mild cheeses. Its aromatic richness enhances exotic flavors and dishes with mild spices.

What are the main characteristics of the Viognier grape variety?

Viognier is a white grape variety known for its intense aromas of stone fruits such as peach and apricot, along with floral notes. It offers a nice roundness on the palate with a slight creaminess and moderate acidity.

How many main appellations produce Viognier in France?

Viognier is mainly grown in several French appellations, including Condrieu, Château-Grillet, and some wines from the southern Rhône. These appellations guarantee rich and expressive white wines.
