Is this half-bottle suitable for tasting with several people?

Appearance: Pale yellow, clear.
Nose: Subtle aromas of citrus, white flowers, and a hint of minerality.
Palate: Fresh and lively with balanced acidity; light texture with a clean, saline finish.

The 37.5 cl format works well for small pours: it allows, for example, seven 5 cl servings. This volume is limited for accompanying an entire meal with several people.

Can I choose this Straw Wine instead of the Yellow Wine from the same estate?

These are two distinct cuvées, not two vintages of the same wine. The catalogue offers this Straw Wine in 2022 and the Yellow Wines in 2016 and 2019; the information provided does not allow us to consider them interchangeable at the table.

Is the 2022 vintage enough to know whether this bottle is ready to open?

No, the year alone does not indicate how the wine has evolved. Without any ageing recommendations or tasting notes for this cuvée, it would be unwise to recommend opening it immediately rather than waiting.

How can I arrange a comparison with another white wine from the estate without drawing a misleading conclusion?

You can compare it with the 2025 Côtes du Jura Chardonnay from Lambert Frédéric, bearing in mind that both the cuvée and the vintage are different. Any differences observed therefore cannot be attributed solely to the harvest year.
